Today we are looking at a parable.  Unlike other parables, Jesus names the people, like Lazarus and Abraham, and as a result its been debated if this is an actual window into the afterlife, or if it is still a parable.

You can rest assured that this is a parable.  I want you to resist the urge to see this parable as one that gives us a glimpse into the afterlife.  Instead this gives us a reality check, in parabolic form, in how to live this life.
