It is in the quiet, surrendered space of prayer that our hearts are fundamentally changed. We are softened. We are filled with the peace of the Gospel. But even more than that, through prayer, we are given the privilege of being catalysts for genuine change in the real world. When we pray, we invite the light of heaven to pierce through the cosmic darkness of our present day.
Now is there a place for action and activism? Of Course! But not before we:
- Remember who is our true enemy: evil, not people.
- Put on our Armor in personal preparation through Christ.
- Pray seeking God to go before us in battle.
