Happy Ascension Day!

This week we celebrated Ascension Day – today we will be continuing to ponder this important part of Christ’s Work on earth.  

The Ascension is when Christ said his final earthly ‘good-bye’ to his disciples and His resurrected body rose to heaven from earth.  This act is part of Christ’s redemptive work in conquering death, including our death.  Here is how it happened:
