This year’s annual picnic will be held on Saturday, July 29th, between the hours of 11:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.  Rev. Todd will be saying Grace at noon and then we will begin eating.  Patterson Park in Grosse Pointe Park will be the setting for this year’s event.  The park offers a variety of facilities including a covered picnic shelter, splash pad, playground playscape, bocce ball court and a boardwalk along the Detroit River.  The setting is beautiful and the weather will be Michigan summer wonderful!

Here is what you can do to help make this year’s picnic a memorable event for our Mariners’ family.  Bring yourself, bring your family and friends to share in the day and in the conversation.  Please feel free to bring any type of game.  This is a wonderful opportunity to get to know each other a little better.  A sign-up sheet will be outside of Charlotte’s office beginning July 2nd. Please sign up or call the Church office with your information by July 21st.  This will help in the planning.

Please bring your own soft drinks and a dish to pass along with a serving utensil.  Hamburgers, brats, hot dogs, buns, corn, cups, plates, napkins and plastic utensils will be provided.  We look forward to seeing everyone there!
