Lent V-11a
Mar 29, 2020 at 11:00 AM

Dear Friends,

I have made the very difficult decision, with the support of our Board of Trustees, to suspend our public services of worship for the next two weeks. We will reassess the situation prior to Palm Sunday, in the hope that we can observe Holy Week together as we would all like to do.

During this time we will still be having services with only the minimal required personnel present, and broadcasting online. I invite you to participate with us live and pray along from home in your Book of Common Prayer

If you do not have a Book of Common Prayer, it can be viewed online here: justus.anglican.org/resources/bcp/1928/BCP_1928.htm

The service will be broadcast live on our Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/marinerschurchofdetroit

(Note that you do not need a Facebook profile to view it)

We will post the recording on our YouTube channel after it is done: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCGIGgHuqx6wgiNUYg7ZTUGQ

On the next two Sundays we will have one service at 11 a.m., that will be in a format similar to our 8:30 service. We will continue with our Thursday services as scheduled at 12:10 p.m. On Wednesday, March 25, we will be commemorating the Annunciation. Please stay tuned for those details.

If you would like me to bring you Holy Communion, please let me know.
