The Dead Sea Scrolls: Opening A Door to the Past

A special lecture from biblical scholar, Rev. Daniel Lewis.

Saturday, September 26, 2020, 10-11:30a.m.

The Dead Sea Scrolls are one of the greatest archaeological treasures the modern world has found. They are the earliest known form of the book we call the Bible and a window into the hopes and struggles of an ancient community of people.

Mariners’ Church of Detroit has arranged for biblical scholar Rev. Daniel Lewis to fill us all in about these ancient manuscripts and their significance to the validity of The Holy Bible. This is one of his most-requested talks and the first time it will be available to join live and online. There will be an opportunity for Q&A with the speaker after the lecture.
