Learning – Students
Every student is a treasure to Christ and Mariners’ places great value on educating and discipling students of all ages, especially from youth through High School and through the college years as well (however extended they may be!).
At Mariners’ Church of Detroit there is a strong emphasis on growing in our knowledge and love of God. Every person has the opportunity to undergo a personalized path of growth and development as a disciple of our Lord Jesus.
To facilitate the spiritual formation of our young people, Mariners’ has undertaken partnerships with area churches that are geographically closer to our youth who live across Metro Detroit. There are multiple quality youth programs that partner with Mariners to make sure that no one lacks for opportunities for learning, growth, and yes, fun!
Not too young
No one is too young to serve Christ, and as one progresses through school, the opportunities and responsibilities begin to multiply. We encourage and provide opportunities, both directly and with our Youth Group partners to have students serve others.
We are engaged with area missions and charities. Everyone can learn to sacrifice for others in tangible ways.
